Slovakia is a well-served country in terms
of ways of transport. Firstly, you can use the bus that’s very cheap. Indeed, as
a student of STU (our university) we had an ISIC card and this card allows us
to have many special offers, like price reduction on bus tickets. To go to
Budapest, we took a Flixbus and it took 3 hours for only 10 euros, and less
than 10 euros to go to Vienna. So that mean of transport was very interesting.
Usually, we used to take the tram because in Bratislava, we had a tram stop in
front of our dormitories and another one really close to the university. We also
had price reduction. Moreover we can take the train to go to the mountains at
the east of the country, we wanted to go there to go skiing but unfortunately
we didn’t had the time. Not forgetting that taking train for student is free.
