When we arrived in Bratislava, our first week
was a welcome week so we had a lot of activities to know each other’s. One of
them was a welcome dinner, at this meal we ate “Bryndzové halušky”, it means dumplings
with sheep cheese and bacon. This is Slovakia’s national dish and we can find
it almost in every restaurant. For me, it taste very good the only problem is that
it is a very heavily dish, you can not eat to much of this.

Slovakia's typical dish |
Few days ago we discovered
a restaurant called “Flagship”, at the entrance it’s written that it is one of
the biggest restaurant of Europe ! We really enjoyed this restaurant because it’s
beautiful inside and it’s a very spacious place. Another important point is
that dish are very cheap. In there, Adelin and I, tried 3 typicals dish including
the “Bryndzové halušky” and it was much better than the first time. It’s important
to know that a lot of dish here are composed of potatoes, bacon or cheese it
isn’t the best place if you are on a diet, but it deserved to be tried ! You
can see on the photo what we took with Adelin at the flagship restaurant. In
the background, it is the famous “Bryndzové halušky”, on the left it’s 5 pirogi
with bryndza cheese and to finish on the right it’s dumplings with cabbage and
bacon (kind of Sauerkraut).
